How do you get your process out of your head and into back-office systems?

I, like many other SMB owners that I know, know our process inside-out BUT it’s all stuck in our heads.

We all use something like Quickbooks, Quicken, Xero, Wave etc. and they all have mobile apps.

But most of us have never fully set it up properly because we keep our business processes solely in our heads, and it’ll take forever to get it organized into the accounting software.

This is a problem for a few reasons, mainly for me hindering growth and efficiency.

This is probably why franchises charge so much in setup fees.

I might get a consultant or dev shop to build me something. It would have to be so simple and basically not disrupt my day. It’s too busy already!

Kind of like an AI that learns how I quote or bill something, then automatically create the invoice.

Any ideas?
