How can I get clients for my software development/AI automation agency?

I started a software development and AI automation agency over a year ago, and I'm looking for advice on how to effectively acquire clients. I started it as I knew a few people that needed development work, but soon after, I wasn't able to get any clients. Our services range from custom software development to implementing AI solutions that can automate processes for businesses.

I’ve tried some typical routes like cold emailing and reaching out on LinkedIn, but results have been slow.

Does anyone here have experience in building a client base for a tech agency? Any specific strategies or platforms that have worked for you? I'm especially interested in ways to find businesses who are ready to implement automation and AI but may not know exactly where to start.
