Thoughts on this market/build strategy? AI Martech SaaS

1. ⁠Use Figma to mockup a prototype
2. ⁠Use exports of the prototype on your Webflow site with a "sign up for waitlist"
3. ⁠Share waitlist with your network or a network of people who might use it
4. ⁠Interview your waitlist for input into what features are the most valuable
5. ⁠Take this list of insights to work with someone who can help put together the MVP

Is this a decent way to roll? For someone with little to no chance of getting funding for devs and no coding experience

My strategy up until now was going to be save up, spend on some code, save up, spend on some code - rinse and repeat until i have a full web app but then that leaves me with 0 marketing budget and also sounds kind of ridiculous when I say it outloud?

I was planning on developing a chrome extension as an MVP test and seeing If i could get to 500 weekly users - this would act as a market test.

Now I'm wondering if a waitlist is more accurate?
