THANK YOU! It's so frustrating to see billion dollar companies with brilliant engineers design a system that uses the painfully inefficient analog process of clicking a mouse and taking screenshots. I predict a future hidden layer to the web where agents are communicating with websites in a completely different way. Probably some websites that don't even have a human-usable front end. The long term solution is not agents that are artificially constrained into human processes, it's a redesign where web and agentic capabilities converge.
Amazing guests as always...🎉🎉🎉
Chris Hay is the most coolest person with a unique perception to answer questions. I'm grinding LeetCode and vibe coding as well because I don't want to miss out on what's going out in the tech world.
Google destroyed newspapers and human curated niche sites, helping to enable the emergent fascist dystopia. Now Perplexity as ad-ignoring agent which will try to take down google's ad biz. Should be fun to watch the drama as the world burns. :'(
Great discussion. I wonder if we can learn anything from the people that wrote machine language or assembler their whole career. I wonder what they thought about the new kids that only learned basic and C?
