Makes no sense, please don't listen to every person over the internet. Most big product companies constantly innovate and that is how they survive and lead the market.
There is a lack of understanding of the roles. Lot of people confuse graphic designers with UX Designers. UI & UX Designers are two different roles. UI designers just work on UI of a product.
However, UX Designers who conduct both research and design can easily thrive in any successful organisation or industry.
Their job is not to design beautiful products but to keep the business relevant by adapting to changing people’s needs and perceptions. Companies and products that don’t have good UX, cannot survive.
i would rather suggest you to understand UX UI role first and then make such videos.
That's why most people die thinking they couldn't taste success but have good skills, they never picked the correct skill.
