Anyone seen success with this AI stuff?

I'm an eCommerce manager for a regional electronics retailer (online and physical stores). We focus on higher-end stuff - TVs, audio systems, laptops, appliances, etc.

I was recently approached by a startup pitching an AI Sales Assistant for websites. They showed it conversing with customers via voice & chat, and is designed to really guide customers through complex purchases. Think product questions, comparisons, even handling objections etc.

I'm curious if anyone has actually implemented AI sales assistants, especially for higher-consideration products like electronics. Have you seen tangible success? And even if you're in a different product category, I'd be interested to hear if you've experimented with this type of tech and what your experience was.

Any insights on what worked, what didn't, or general advice would be super helpful as we explore this.
