Advice on Launching an AI Task Assistant for Forgetful People
Hi everyone,
I’m working on an idea for an AI assistant that helps people stay on top of their tasks—like remembering to cancel a gym membership or following up on an important email.
What makes this different is that it doesn’t require downloading yet another app. Instead, it integrates with tools people already use, like:
- Slack
- SMS
For critical tasks, it could even escalate reminders to a phone call to make sure nothing gets missed.
The main features I’m building include:
- Daily Check-ins: Quick updates to keep tasks and schedules on track.
- Persistent Follow-ups: Friendly nudges until tasks are completed or rescheduled.
- Proactive Scheduling: Automatically resolving conflicts in a calendar.
- Escalating Reminders: Escalating priority tasks via calls if needed.
I’d love to ask for your advice:
- As a small business owner, would features like these help you or your team stay organized?
- What’s missing in existing task management tools for busy entrepreneurs?
- Do you think the “no app needed” angle is compelling enough to stand out in a crowded market?
I’m still testing and refining this concept, and I’d love to hear your insights to help make it better.
Thanks in advance for sharing your thoughts and feedback!
