Advice Needed: How to Choose a Research Paper to Implement for Learning AI

I'm currently diving into AI and planning to implement a research paper to strengthen my understanding and gain hands-on experience. However, I'm a bit overwhelmed by the vast number of papers out there and unsure how to pick the right one, I have some coding experience, but I’m still growing in terms of implementing more complex algorithms
