
$1.2 MRR, should I do paid ads?
Hello,
I launched a bootstrapped b2b SaaS end of last year and I've just hit 1.2k MRR. It's a 50-60% profit margin, so $600 are going to my pocket, I also do freelancing where most of my revenue comes from, that's about 3k monthly average.
My project has essentially been stuck around this 1k MRR mark for months, I'm sticking to my strategy:
- Daily outreach on LinkedIn
- Weekly Post on LinkedIn (my company is a no code tool for building AI SEO & content workflows, so every week I share a new tool)
- Weekly Blog Post
- Reaching out to influencers/newsletter writers to see if they'd be willing to write about it.
Now I'm thinking if I should set $500-$1000 monthly budget for paid ads, I'm primarily considering Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads. Essentially I'm wondering if 1.2k MRR a good point to start investing back into the company.
